Bob's Bagels finally got an interview with busy boy reporter Brennan LaBrie. Brennan is a 10 year old Port Townsend local who is a news reporter and correspondent for TIME magazine for Kids. He also heads up his own newspaper called the Spruce Street Weekly, which has now been running for just about 2 years. We've been anxious to have Brennan come visit us at the bakery to see the process and hopefully make some print in his paper. Above, Julie, Brennan, Bodie (Brennan's brother) and mother Colleen listen as Bob explains the process.

Both boys are anxious to cut. Bob instructs them to cut the dough into pieces between 3.65 - 3.75 ounces.

looking good!

fast learners and eager workers!

Bob and Julie then teach them the next step of rolling. A hard task for such little hands...but they take it on with determination.

as we say..."makin' snakes"

Post making and interview, Bob and Brennan showing the goods. Thanks so much Brennan for chatting, learning and being a part of Bob's Bagels!
