addicted to canning






much to my grandmothers pleasure, i have been teaching myself to can. it all started when Marilyn and i decided to pick 40 plus pounds of apples at a local orchard ~ basically throwing us into a speedy canning fest. Above is the quick (it took me about 5 hours to process 12 half pints, 2 quarts & 1 pint) clip of making applesauce from apples right off the tree. So perfect was the combo of jonagold, jonathon and golden deliscious that no other ingredients were added ~ just plain old goodness.
