circus fort & first mornings

the first thing i can say about van life is that you must be open to evolution. the constant morphing of what works, what doesn't and how to change it all. Rico has been tweaked daily, in small increments, and is now a cozy, warm and relatively dry place to sleep. moisture control in the PNW is a real mind bender at times.
first coffee date on the property. i foresee lots of standing about with a hot cup while staring at the land saying things like "how about here?" "how do we get rid of that?" "what animal poop is this?"

For those who aren't aware, Bob's shop is roughly 500 feet from the property. This is great for so many reasons, mainly being ample space to hang out, electricity, water and tools. An avid believer in personal space and alone time...something difficult to foster in van life, i've created a circus tent for some personal space. a cozy nook with my paintings, sewing stuff, knittables, internets and couch for lounging.

on a side note, we finally downsized our bike collection! we now have 11...not 12.
