whistling oyster in Quilcene, Wa is the quintessential tavern to enjoy post backpacking beers, all things fried and some serious shuffle board...seriously!
if you even waddle within close proximity of a board with your sweaty brew, you'll get a shout out warning from the bar tender to back the "eff" up.
The owner (who i have yet to see) boasts some hefty pride in his boards and i can see why. And oh yea, even my dad could find a bit of Quincy tucked away in this gem...top of the menu, fried gizzards. ummmmm, mmmmmmm.
